What it is:
- International Defensive Pistol Association matches promote safe and proficient use of guns and equipment suitable for self-defense use. You will practice concealment, cover and movement and, above all, safe gun handling!
- You will learn how to safely and efficiently use a firearm in different scenarios such as in buildings, around automobiles, in crowds and in the open and in the home. You will learn how to save your own life and how to protect those you love.

What to Bring:
- You need a handgun, semi-automatic or revolver, .38 special or 9mm or more, in power.
- You'll also need spare magazines, or speed loaders, enough to hold about 30 rounds.
- Bring a holster that covers the trigger on your handgun like in the picture above.
- Hearing and eye protection.
- A bag to carry your ammo and personal gear in.
- A folding chair or camp stool.
- Appropriate clothing for the weather.
- Drinking water and lunch.
- If you do not own a firearm, call us and we'll arrange someone to mentor you and get you started in this sport!
Safety Considerations:
- Hearing and eye protection are required. All shooters must obey all club and safety officer rules.
